We have models for sale!  There is a competitive International One Metre class yacht and a beautiful scale sailing model 'Colin Archer Sailing Lifeboat'.  Both models compete with radio control gear.

50th Anniversary Open Day - Saturday 21st September 2024
We were joined by seven other model yacht and boat clubs for our anniversary Open Day - one of the largest model boat meetings at Portishead Lake Grounds for many years.  The Woodspring club ran a BBQ over lunchtime for club members and the visiting modellers from other clubs.  We had a wet start to the day while we set up gazebos, tables and banners but then the rain went away and by the afternoon we had sunshine and a gentle breeze - perfect!  it was a great way to celebrate our first 50 years as a club.  View the photos here.
